When it comes to monuments, historical buildings and cultural attractions, there is no other city within the United States that can compare to the Washington DC. Just around the downtown and center where the federal government and embassies are located, there are already plenty of them all clustered together. So, if you are going to see them all, group transportation is highly recommended.
Washington DC center brings you places like the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank and also the Pan American Health Organization. They are all historical and internationally-renowned buildings that you should see when you are there. The city will be a delight for history, politics and culture fanatics.
Worry not as buildings and monuments do not, by itself, define Washington DC. If you are using a bus charter, Washington DC is even bigger, better and more exciting. Why? Well, this is your chance to go for many different performances and art exhibitions as possible because Washington DC is the national center for the arts. It is surprising, however, how many people find it 'surprising' to find so many theaters and art companies in Washington DC.
One good example of good place to go to would be the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. It is the country's busiest, most visited and elaborate performing arts center in the country, so you can really expect a lot of new and creative works of art here. Apparently, the center hosts thousands of shows in a year at the center. Since, this is not the only place to visit for good shows, there are many other worthy sites to see
Washington DC is also where The Warner Theater is. Warner Theater, as you may also suspect, is one of the oldest live theaters in the country, it was built way back in the 20's and was THE place showing the latest, hottest shows and performances. And yes, the place is owned by one of the Warner Brothers. The theater is now used as a place for live concert and other live shows.
As far as historical places are concerned, add Ford's Theater to your list places to see – worth a visit just because it is the site of Abraham Lincoln's assassination. Having developed from being a place of worship to a theater, the new Ford's Theater was brought to life once again in 1863 and now offer timed tours for both the Ford Theater and another Washington DC attraction located right across the street, Peterson House.
As you can see, Washington DC is extremely exciting place to be whether you are using bus charter or driving yourself. However, if you wish to maximize time and cut cost, group traveling is the ideal deal.
